Reborn Arc[]

An assassin is killed on a passenger plane over a city. He wakes up in a temple-like area and meets the Goddess. She gives him the opportunity to reincarnate him in exchange for killing a brave man. The assassin accepts and picks his five skills: Rapid Recovery, Spellweaver, Limitless Growth, Martial Arts and an unknown D rank skill. He also choses to specialize in the four main attributes: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The goddess is intrigued and sends him on his way.

The assassin is born to Esri Tuatha Dé and Cian Tuatha Dé as Lugh Tuatha Dé. When Lugh turns five, he's given the task of getting used to killing for he is human. He gets his body checked regularly afterwards. When he's seven, Lugh hunts in the mountains for training. His father has noticed Lugh recovers quickly without the use of an Appraisal sheet. Lugh hunts Arte Rabbits and makes a stew. Esri and Cian have some banter as Lugh cooks some cream stew. As they eat, Cian suggests making it a specialty dish. While the food Lugh has in this world isn't as good, he tastes a wonderful meal.

After dinner comes training and after this day of training, Lugh is ready to receive the Mystic eyes of Tuatha Dé. Lugh is ready and recovers from the operation faster thanks to his Rapid Recovery skill. Lugh is amazed by what he can see and eventually adjusts to it thanks to his skills. He's then told that he will get a magic teacher.

Esri dresses up Lugh in very girly clothes. Lugh finally wears it if he gets duck roast that night. He's about to ditch the clothes to meet his magic teacher only for Esri to prevent him from changing. Lugh meets his magic teacher in the drawing room, a silver-haired ten year old girl. They have tea with Cian and Lugh is mistaken for a girl because of Esri's clothes. Cian says Lugh will be training with the girl, Dia Viekone for two weeks.

They go to the yard to train after Lugh changes back into his normal clothes. Dia brings out a Fahr Stone to determine how much magical power Lugh has. Lugh has a lot more to the surprise of Dia. The Fahr Stone nearly breaks and Dia warns Lugh to throw it. He does and it creates a large explosion shattering the a few windows of the mansion. Cian and Esri come by to ask what happened. Dia explains but to her surprise, Cian and Esri are delighted. Lugh ends up asking for Fahr stones but Dia refuses.

Dia goes to measure the aptitude of Lugh using another Fahr stone. Lugh's greed is apparent as she tests for the attributes. She's amazed then astonished when she finds out that Lugh has the main for magical attributes. She holds Lugh and guides him through a magical conversion. Afterwards it's clear that Cian gave Lugh the best teacher for magic when Lugh manages to convert an attribute for the first time. After a bit, Lugh gets a vision of letters. These letters are the first spell Lugh learns. This first spell is create iron and pronounciation is key. Lugh thinks about the possibilities this magic can provide as she runs him through the pronounciation. Lugh memorizes the spell but his tongue can't keep up.

Lugh asks if he can use a spell even if he didn't get a revelation of it. Dia isn't sure but decides to try it. Lugh performs the magic successfully and learns how the spells are similar. Lugh explains it to her so she can understand and manages to make titanium and tungsten. Dia does it and can do it too. However when she tries to make gold, she gets dizzy. Lugh realizes that he needs to write down the spells himself for them to be used. This is in fact what Spellweaver does. They decide to cooperate to make new spells together.

Dia sleeps next to Lugh with Lugh figuring out that his mother was born into the Viekone family. They head into the mountains ten days after training began. Lugh makes a rifle and fires at a tree making it fall over. Dia does the same magic and destroys a rock with it. Lugh then creates a large cannon and fires it. Dia calls it overkill but Lugh doesn't think so. He thinks about making an alloy next.

On the last day, Lugh is successful in making an alloy or combination of metals. He makes a titanium alloy knife and gives it to Dia. He mentions that they can give soldiers the weapons as long as they don't know how it's made. He lets her keep the knife along with three swords. Lugh also promises to come for her when she needs him. That knight they show Cian the sword but hide how it's made. As Dia gets in the carraige to leave, she tosses a Fahr Stone to Lugh. Lugh is grateful and for the next two weeks, he develops his magic further. He also hopes that sneaking off to see Dia will be great training as an assassin.

Before winter arrives, Lugh goes out hunting while also looking for an assistant. He ends up finding a blonde haired girl who's incredibly thin. Lugh gives her a warm meal with the condition that she eats slowly and ask why she's here. Apparently she was expelled from her home for having too many mouths to feed. He asks if the girl can become his assistant and she's overjoyed to be useful to someone. This girl's name is Tarte.

Two years pass and Tarte grows up into a capable servant. Cian had given two conditions for training Tarte: Lugh had to teach her himself and if she betrayed them, he would kill her. Cian ends up asking Lugh about Tarte's training and Lugh is confirmed that she's innocent. Cian mentions that Lugh has two tests ahead of him. If he completes them both he'll be recognized as a Tuatha Dé assassin. The first exam is a fight against Cian where victory or defeat doesn't matter.

The pair go to the woods seperately and hide. They hope to take the other one by surprise. Lugh is attacked by a poison arrow but he dodges and hurries to the location of the shooter. He throws two knives with one missing and the other hitting the tree trunk. Cian throws the second knife back at Lugh but he deflects it. Cian breaks Lugh's knee with a kick before going back into hiding. Lugh quickly recovers and notes that his father is superior in terms of experience. Lugh senses two attacks from both sides. He dodges the left and deflects the right. He senses the attack above him though and takes the knife into his shoulder while putting his own knife against his father's throat. Lugh is dizzy and naueous because the knife was poisoned. Cian is impressed at Lugh's victory and notes that Lugh didn't use magic. Lugh said that magic would have rendered this training session meaningless because it was a test as well.

After changing clothes, Lugh and Tarte go into the market with the locals giving Lugh food. One of them even asks to fix his cow's legs. Lugh doesn't help too often but does so regularly to get his people to have faith in him. They return to the mansion with lots of food and hope to use it before it rots. Tarte notices another bag and it's full of Fahr Stones made by Lugh. He made them and stored magic in them to use against the hero someday.

Milteu Arc[]

Lugh is Cian's assistant for a bit. Eventually Cian mentions being an assassin requires a secret identity. Lugh is to spend two years training to be a merchant. He's to choose from a merchant's son in town of Milteu or a blacksmith's son. Lugh goes with the merchant's son and hopefully he'll be able to pull up an information network.

Six months after Lugh arrives in Milteu, Lugh (disguised as Ilig Balor) decides what to sell. He spent the first three months as a clerk and then moved to the head office where he was better suited to be. He also hear Balor Béimnech's son, Beruid Balor, of an incurable disease. Balor is so grateful that he give Ilig his own store to run. It'll take three months to get it running but Ilig will get more stores and 5% of the business revenue if he's successful.

Ilig returns to his home to find Tarte and his newest younger sister, Maha, waiting for him. She's a candidate for an assistant having a slender frame and magical power. He ended up rescuing her from a terrible orphanage so she was easy to brainwash. She wasn't too great for assassinations but she was great at intel gathering since she was the daughter of a merchant before he was killed. He tells them of his new store and that he wants to sell sweets and cosmetics. Maha says it'll be difficult but Ilig has a plan. Beruid comes over that night to participate in the lessons Ilig is teaching Tarte and Maha.

After a bit of chemistry, Ilig's product is ready to present to Balor and his wife Mira. He's making a product that no other cosmetics company has, lotion. Mira is impressed with the product so much so that she considers Ilig a part of the family. Ilig gives Balor a list of estimated costs along with a brief explanation of how it's made to avoid others from copying it. This technique will also give the province of Tuatha Dé more profit. Ilig also thinks about how he may be a target for assassination and how it would give Tarte and Maha good experience.

A month and a half passes and Orna opens successfully. Six months later, Orna is well known so much so that spies are infiltrating the factory. One even tries to sneak in to kidnap Ilig but Tarte uses the spear that Lugh made for her birthday to apply neurotoxin to the infiltrator. Maha then ties up the assaliant with Ilig impressed by both of them.

Eventually Ilig has to go back to being Lugh with Maha being appointed at Lugh's secretary. Maha is slightly jealous that Tarte gets to be with Lugh and makes Lugh promise to visit her. As they ride back, Tarte mentions on how she'll miss Maha so Lugh makes her responsible for certain deliveries so she can see Maha more often. After Tarte takes down some monster wolves with wind magic, the pair make it back to their homeland.

The people of the land are growing soybeans and they thank Lugh for thier efforts and give him gifts. Esri is happy for her son to be back but Lugh quickly gets away from her to see his father. His father is happy that his son became a man and mentions that he made him a merchant as a way out of being an assassin. Lugh is determined to be an assassin though and mentions that if the kingdom betrays him, he'll hide as Ilig Balor. He also admits his feelings for Dia to his father and his father is amused. He sends Lugh on his first mission.

Civil War Arc[]

Lugh wakes up with his mother wanting to see his darkest moment again. Lugh quickly removed her before that happens as he doesn't want it to happen again. After a talk about arranged marraiges. After sending two pigeons to Maha talking about the assassination mission and the infiltration. Lugh learns that Count Azba Venkaur, his target, is the one selling the drug giving extacy at the cost of dependency.

He infiltrates the manor as Ilig Balor along with Maha (with Maha noting her effections for Lugh). Three days after meeting the wife, Lugh assassinates the count using a sniper rifle. He feels bad that the wife will be alone but doesn't regret his assassination. Tarte ends up holding Lugh for a bit to help him calm down. He makes the bullet in the count's head vanish so knowledge of guns wasn't spread.

Three months later, Lugh and Tarte gets a task from Cian as a noble bleeds on thier doorstep. The task is to kill Dia Viekone and Lugh obviously has reservations about that. Lugh notes the recent civil war in Swoigel because the country didn't have assassins like the Alvan Kingdom had the Tuatha Dé. The corrupted nobles wanted Dia and the people of the country didn't like that so they began fighting over her. Because of that Dia needed to vanish so to speak. Lugh agreed to the job if the goal was to fake Dia's death and agrees to fulfill the promise they made several years ago.

Tarte manages to get him part of the way and he makes a part the trip with a hang-glider he made with magic. Lugh arrives at the battlefield and begins taking out magical users. From thier actions afterwards, Lugh determines that Dia had been firing at them. He then uses a bow and arrow with a Fahr Stone on the end to act as a grenade launcher. With these distractions Lugh can sneak inside without trouble. As Lugh sneaks in, he thinks about the guy who could be the hero, Setanta Macness, and his magical spear, Gáe Bolg. He reaches Dia and she's grateful that he came for her. He also meets Dimor Viekone, Dia's father and goes with his plan to make a burned body seem like Dia. However Setanta attacks before Lugh can enact his plan.

Lugh manages to block the attack with a Fahr stone and summons a cannon. Setanta was hurt but still standing. Lugh recognizes him as the man who ended the civil war singlehandedly. He challenged Lugh to a duel and Lugh accepted after throwing a large spear into orbit. Lugh manages to hold his attention long enough for said spear to land and disintegrates Setanta. There is a massive explosion that throws Lugh back and breaks a lot of bones in his body. Lugh searches with his magic but the spear is gone. Dia hugs Lugh grateful to him for saving her.

Dia is taken back to the land of Tuatha Dé to live. Once they return to the mansion, Cian decides to make Dia Lugh's sister and mentions the hero has arrived in the Alvan Kingdom.
